Yeah. For instance, today I just feel very lesbian. Like uber-lesbian. Or more specifically, the equivalent of what I have heard termed "word vomit" (where you can help yourself and you let something slip out), and I just really want to express just how gay I am. Do you ever feel like some days you're queerer than other days? What do you usually do? Eat rainbow sherbert?
OK, I need an idea for my tomorrow GSA, SUPERIMPORTANTE. Discussion topic that WILL LAST 40 MINUTES would be super-helpful. It's like pulling teeth to get them to talk. I know it's intersex awareness week. Any possible ideas for that?
So yeah. What songs would you put on the ultimate queer playlist?
I personally love hearing about famous people that are lgbt. It brightened my whole day when I heard about James Dean. So, I know the basics of which famous peple are out/suspected of being queer (Sir Ian McKellan, Ellen Degeneres, Tom Cruise and, my personal bet, Ryan Seacrest). So, what more are there that I haven't heard of? Are there famous people that you think are gay? BTW: I heard from my Youth Group Leader's brother's friend knows Tom Cruise is actually gay, or at least dates dudes when he's away from his wife.
Since were not usually (at this general age group) congregated into humongous identifiable clumps, sometimes it doesn't really seem like there are things we all get, which semms unfair, since everyone else gets their pop culture. So, if you had to make a list of things that should be things every LGBT teen/college-age person should know (like books, movies, people, phrases) that would make up LGBT t/c-a p culture, what would they be?
This is a personal thing, since I've never really had a true crush on anybody. I've only ever been truly attracted to girls, but I've never had a crush on anyone. So, does this count me as queer yet? It seems like a good discussion topic, and as long as you're all polite, I won't be pissed off at your answer.
Ha ha. Hoped that would get your attention. Okay, here goes.
Life is not very kind, We very often do not get to do what you want to do. Hell, we very often do not tell other people what it is that we even want to do. So, the purpose of this forum topic is to declare yourself and say exactly what it is that you have always wanted to do/be/accomplish.
Nobody knows who you are, and nobody can laugh.
Okay, here's the deal: I just joined Facebook, and I'm wondering what the hell there is to do. Obviously a lot, but I mean LGBt-wise. What is some good ol' queer stuff to do? On the facebook/myspace-orientation forum, I know someone put something about an application that gives you more sexual orientation options, so yeah, what/where is that? Are there any good groups or causes? What else? Besides the oasis groups :)
*Dances on vanquished summary of everything we learned in history this year* *"Sweetest Thing" by U2 plays* *la di dah* *lah lah lah*
I have given up on sleeping, literally, and I keep on playing "Sweetest thing" by U2. Wo-oh-oh, the sweetest thing. The question is, if I play it long enough, will I attain nirvana?
